BPO Automation · The Work Comes First

The work first.
Then the automation.

Most BPO automation pitches start with a tool. Ours start with a stable operation. We run the work — measure it, document it, scorecard it — and only then automate the steps that should never have been human in the first place. When automation makes sense, we have an in-house option: yGen Phoenix, our sister company's agentic AI platform.

The Discipline

Why most automation
projects quietly fail.

The pattern is consistent across every operation we've inherited from someone else: a vendor sells a platform, the platform automates a broken process at speed, and twelve months later the cost is still there — just in a different ledger.

Real BPO automation isn't a tool decision. It's a sequence: stabilize the operation, govern the work, then automate the right steps. Skip a stage and the automation amplifies whatever was wrong upstream.

This is why our automation work always starts with the SSC. We have to know how the work runs — under what SLA, against what scorecard, with what error rate — before we can know what to automate. The result is automation that compounds. Not automation that needs replacing in eighteen months.

Layer 01

Operations

Clicktek SSC

Real teams running real work under SLA discipline. Service catalog, scorecards, single source of truth.

  • SLA scorecards (40/20/20/20)
  • Single source of truth in JIRA/JSM
  • Monthly stakeholder reviews
Layer 02

Process & RPA

Discovery + scripted automation

Process discovery, decision-mapping, and RPA where the work is repetitive and rules are clean.

  • Process discovery workshops
  • RPA bots (UiPath, Power Automate)
  • Workflow orchestration
Layer 03

Agentic AI

yGen Phoenix · sister company

For work that needs judgment, not just rules. Sovereign on-prem agents — no vendor surveillance, no token meters.

  • Multi-agent orchestration
  • On-prem or in your cloud
  • Powered by yGen Phoenix

A five-step automation discipline.

The automation work we do follows the same path every time. No "AI strategy" decks. No vendor RFPs before there's a baseline. Just the discipline that produces compounding outcomes.

01

Run the work first

Before we automate anything, our SSC team runs the operation under the same scorecard discipline as every other domain. We need a stable baseline — error rate, throughput, exception types, time-per-step — before we touch it. You cannot automate what you cannot see.

02

Map the steps that shouldn't be human

Process discovery sessions with the team actually doing the work. We're looking for repetition with clean rules — invoice categorisation, ticket triage, exception handling, data validation. We deliberately leave the judgment-heavy steps in human hands until Layer 03 is justified.

03

Build the cheapest thing that works

RPA, scripts, workflow rules — whatever does the job with the least operational debt. Most automation does not need AI. We default to the simpler tool and only escalate when the work genuinely requires judgment.

04

Layer agentic AI where it earns its keep

For work that needs reading, reasoning, or judgment — practitioner inquiry routing, multi-step refund decisions, policy-aware support — we layer agentic AI from yGen Phoenix. On-premise or in your cloud, so your data stays yours. No new vendor onboarding, no new contract: same delivery team, more leverage.

05

Measure, hold, expand

Every automation has a scoreboard. Throughput, exception rate, cost per transaction, fallback frequency. We hold automations against their original business case for at least two quarters before expanding scope. No "AI roadmap" without an "AI scoreboard".

◆ Powered by yGen Phoenix

The agentic layer is in the family.

When automation needs to go beyond rules and scripts, we use yGen Phoenix — our sister company's agentic AI platform. It runs on-premise or in your cloud, integrates with the work we already manage, and is governed under the same operating principles as the rest of the SSC.

Sovereignty isn't a marketing claim. It's a deployment decision. Phoenix runs on the AI Agent Box appliance or in your existing cloud — your data, your governance, your compliance posture. No surveillance. No token meters. No vendor lock-in.

On-prem
Sovereign deployment — your hardware or your cloud
Multi-agent
Orchestrated agents, not flowcharts that pretend to be agents
In-family
Same group, same delivery team, same governance discipline

Most engagements start with a small, scoped pilot — usually one service domain or one technical workstream — so you can see how we run before committing to a full SSC or build squad.
